Ariana Nehls, LPC

I have experience working with children (starting at age 5), adolescents, teenagers, young adults, and older adults with various mental health diagnoses. Areas of focus have included: depression, anxiety, grief, gender dysphoria, stress, trauma, substance use, bipolar, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and ADHD. I also affirm LGBTQ and have had experience working with LGBTQ clients.

I use a compassionate, respectful, non-judgmental approach. The approach is determined by the presenting problem and client preference. There may be a combination of approaches used in order to achieve desired results.

Mental health counseling can benefit people struggling with emotional difficulties, life challenges, and mental health concerns. It’s a wonderful, caring, and compassionate thing to do for yourself. Think of it as being a good parent to yourself and getting yourself the professional support you need and deserve. Your mental health matters.
