Jennifer Beasley-Robinson, LSW

My goal as a therapist is to offer my clients a safe space for sharing and healing. "It is my priority to make my clients feel heard and allow them to be their true authentic selves."  I am here to provide unconditional support, and allow you to express yourself while you embark on your new journey to healing.

I have clinical experience working with adults and children in the emergency room setting, and outpatient settings that are in crisis and have severe and persistent mental health issues. This includes clients that have a wide array of mental health challenges, including Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, self-esteem issues, crisis management, acute stress, and adjustment difficulties. I also have a forensic background and have worked with clients struggling with substance abuse issues and those who have been incarcerated.

I am an experienced culturally sensitive, and competent therapist who enjoys working with diverse clients. I enjoy working with the African American Community, and LGBTQ+ community. I see clients starting at age 8. I am passionate about advocating for you and being your ally. I have a special interest in working with single mothers who struggle with depression and maternal mental health issues.

I incorporate Mindfulness, Meditation, and evidence-based interventions which include Trauma-Informed Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Above all, I believe in the therapeutic value of building a strong trusting relationship with my clients.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters of Social Work Degree and Chemical Dependency Certificate from Cleveland State University.  My undergraduate degree is in Justice Studies from Kent State University.
