Sabrina Kohls, LSW, MPH

We all encounter struggles in our lifetime, and healing is never linear. By coming to counseling, you have taken the very first steps toward bettering yourself, little by little, day by day. My approach to counseling is to bring awareness to your underlying strengths, and to empower you with the idea that you already have all of the knowledge you need to begin your healing journey. I will gently point out the contributing factors to thought and behavioral patterns that often lead to depression and anxiety. I will help you learn the tools to continue to be resilient throughout this often challenging life.

I primarily work with adults and adolescents. I have a deep passion for working with clients struggling with substance abuse. I obtained my B.S. in psychology from Otterbein University and earned a Masters in Applied Social Science from Case Western Reserve University in 2019. I also hold a Masters in Public Health from Case Western Reserve University.

It can be incredibly daunting to reach out for help, especially when we are struggling. I am so happy that you have decided to put your well-being as a priority! It is important to me that we foster an environment of non-judgment to help you in your process of both discovering more about yourself, and learning how to care for yourself.
